** You are free to drive and there is good parking at Saltgrass Printmakers, Salt Lake Community College and Art Access Gallery. There is paid parking at the Main City Library either on the side or underneath (access on 4th south north side, going east). The Downtown Co-oporative Gallery have street parking, possibly limited. Maps will be online and in the Symposium booklet.

Setting Up Shop After School ~ An informal Q&A on post academia printmaker survival and thrives strategies.
Based on student requests who attended the last Mid-America Print Conference in Laramie, Wyoming, we have organized a roundtable question and answer conversation with Judith Baumann, Crow’s Shadow, Pendleton, Oregon; Greg Santos from Art Gym, Denver, CO; Jilleun Jasperson, Press and Tell, Lehi, Utah; and Anna Hansen, Hex Press, Salt Lake City Utah; and Stefanie Dykes, Saltgrass Printmakers, Salt Lake City, UT.
We will share our experiences and talk about the advantages of joining a community press, setting a private studio, or applying for fellowships and residencies. 
After a brief intro from each person there will be a call for questions.

LATE NIGHT..
Copper Palate Press is a Printmaking Collective specializing in Fine Art prints on paper and commercial apparel printing. They will be hosting an open studio Friday October 11th.

From 8:00 - 11:00pm. Located at 160 east. 200 south. (Down the alley next to FICE). Stop by and check out work they've printed from the past ten years. Refreshments provided.
