Permission Numbers | Add Codes

Permission numbers will not be issued until your scheduled registration date is opened. Please do not request before that time. The add codes will be emailed within 48 hours during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

You must meet with an advisor if you haven’t declared art or art history as your major but are planning on doing so. Click the button below to make an appointment.

If you are requesting a permission number/add code for ARTH 2500-090 Introduction to the History of Art, please fill out the form below. To obtain a permission number/add code for ARTH 4000 Good Looking or an Art History Seminar (ARTH 4985, 4X90, or 4X95), please contact the instructor of the class you wish to register for.

Art Minor students should register for the minor-specific section of their studio courses (i.e., DRAW 3130, CERM 3210) instead of the Art Major section (i.e., ART 3130, ART 3210). If you have questions about which section is appropriate, please get in touch with a CFA advisor.
