Call for Entries: 2024 Juried Student Art Exhibition

BFA 2024 Jured Show Call for Entries

The Department of Art & Art History is pleased to announce the call for entries for the 2024 BFA Juried Student Exhibition.

SUBMISSION DATES
MONDAY, MARCH 25 — TUESDAY, MARCH 26
10:00 AM — 4:00 PM
Gittins Gallery (FMAB / Building 36)

ELIGIBILITY
Students must be currently enrolled as undergraduate Art majors/minors (all emphasis areas) or Graphic Design majors at the U of U.

REQUIREMENTS
Students may submit 1–3 original works in any medium.

  • 2D works: Must be ready to hang, with picture wire, including all framed work and paintings. No saw-tooth hangers. Wet paintings, loose drawings, or other unfinished works will NOT be accepted.
  • 3D works: Include special display instructions, if applicable.
  • Video: Submit on thumb drive or provide a
  • Each work submitted must be clearly labeled with the title of work and entrant’s full name.
  • Artworks may be priced for sale, if desired. All sales inquiries will be referred to individual artists.

JURYING
Jurying will take place on Wednesday, March 27.
Accepted entries will be posted by 8:30a on Thursday, March 28 outside of the Art & Art History office (ART 161).

WORK NOT ACCEPTED MUST be picked up:
THURSDAY, MARCH 28—FRIDAY, MARCH 29
Between 10:00a—4:00p

EXHIBITED WORK MUST be picked up:
MONDAY, MAY 6—WEDNESDAY, MAY 8
Between 10:00a—4:00p
Exhibited work may not be removed before this period.

Insurance will not be provided for any submitted or exhibited work.

The Department of Art & Art History is not responsible for any work that is not picked up by the appointed dates. Unclaimed work may be disposed of.
