A Sense of Place Exhibition on view at Utah Cultural Celebration Center

A Sense of Place

A Sense of Place, an exhibition of work is the culmination of a 16-week project from Spring 2021 semester. Professor Al Denyer was awarded a unique Collections Engagement Grant from the University of Utah's UMFA and Marriott Library Special Collections to work on a group project with MFA students from her Graduate Critique class. Denyer and her students conducted research using material from the UMFA and Marriott Library Special Collections, to explore what “A Sense of Place” means in historical and individual contexts, and how it related to living in the mountain west.

The exhibition will be on view at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center November 10 - December 29.
