These in-person, professional development workshops are FREE to the public and designed to teach business skills to artists in all disciplines, giving them the skills to build successful careers in the arts. Facilitated by Springboard for the Arts.

Location: Finch Lane Gallery, 54 Finch Ln, Salt Lake City, UT

Legal Considerations (Tuesday, June 20, 2023, 6:00-8:30 pm)
- This session will teach artists how to obtain general information about their intellectual property, contract basics and structuring your artistic business.

Funding (Wednesday, June 21, 2023, 6:00-8:30 pm)
- This session will teach artists how to think creatively about diversifying your funding streams by exploring different models for generating value,
resources, and revenue.

Business Plan Essentials (Thursday, June 22, 2023, 6:00-8:30 pm)
- This session will teach artists how to prepare a simple business plan, in arts-friendly language, to help you organize all the various aspects of your artistic practice and make informed business decisions.
