Sadly, the Department of Art and Art History said goodbye to another one of our own this past November 2024. Emeritus Professor Raymond C. Morales left a memorable mark on this department, the larger Utah design community, and the graphic design world. Ray's website includes a beautiful obituary and tribute video. Marina Gomberg, in The Finer Points Blog for the College of Fine Arts, wrote a lovely memorandum about Prof. Morales and his legacy to our department and college.

The department plans to hold a memorial exhibition this coming spring semester to honor our colleague, friend, and mentor.

Ray, we will miss you.
