Experience the Artwork and Wisdom of Prof. Maureen O’Hara Ure

If you have not had the opportunity to experience the artwork of Prof. Maureen O'Hara Ure, now is your chance. See the new exhibition from March 15th through April 12th at Philllips Gallery. According to information about the show: "The two dozen paintings on exhibit were developed from the pages of her travel sketchbooks and on-site studies on recent travel throughout Spain. This project was funded in part by the University Research Committee. Senior Mickayla Koday's assistance with the documentation and preparation of panels for the exhibition was made possible by the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program."

O'Hara Ure will also participate in the Utah Symposium in Science and Literature, held April 10th through the 12th. She will be part of a panel discussion exploring Beauty on April 11th. The panel will also include poet Prof. Katharine Coles, Prof. Chris Johnson, Founding Director of the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI), Prof. Fred Adler, Director of the School of Biological Sciences, and others.
