Visiting Art Critic Talk: Aruna D’Souza

Please join the Department of Art & Art History at the UMFA Dumke Auditorium on March 26th at 7:00 PM for visiting Writer and Art Critic Aruna D’Souza’s talk, “Pictures for a New World.”

D’Souza, who writes for 4Columns and The New York Times, received the 2021 Rabkin Prize for art journalism and a 2019 Andy Warhol Foundation Art Writer’s Grant. Her book Whitewalling: Art, Race, and Protest in 3 Acts was named one of the best art books of 2018 by The New York Times.

The talk and visit are made possible through the generous support of the University of Utah Fine Arts Fees and the College of Fine Arts.
