Youth Activist Art Archive

YAAA logo on yellow

The Youth Activist Art Archive (YAAA) highlights youth-created art that addresses a variety of important social issues. We celebrate the act of critically seeing the world and having the creativity to envision and campaign for change. This archive is the recognition of young artists (26 years old and younger), who are at the forefront of social movements and showcase the passion, hope, and resiliency needed to create sustainable changes in our world.

The YAAA website is a database of numerous categories of youth-created activist art and contains resources for making and facilitating art activism art projects and highlights current academic research. We are currently accepting submissions to be reviewed and curated by the YAAA team at the University of Utah.

This archive is made possible, in part, through the generous support of the University Research Committee and Digital Matters, both from the University of Utah.

“This project was supported by the University Research Committee (URC) at the University of Utah. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors, and do not necessarily represent the official views of the URC, the Vice President for Research Office, or the University of Utah.”
