Facilities include over 7,000 square feet of interior and exterior communal work space. You will find a professional equipped woodworking shop and a comprehensive welding and foundry facility. Adjacent to the foundry is a small metals shop equipped for forging, metal forming, repoussé, casting and enameling. Along with traditional shops, our program provides facilities for students to work in a wide range of mediums and formats including image transfer techniques, video production and projection, thermoforming and plastic fabrication, and three-dimensional paper making and forming. In addition we have a digital fabrication lab with laser cutter, 3d printer and cnc router. Students who have an eclectic approach to art making move easily from sculpture shops to facilities throughout the department.
