Activities
Any student at the University of Utah who has a focused interest in furthering their professional skills in painting may join our group. One of our main activities is to organize and sponsor the Brown Bag Academy. This is an ad hoc group made up of students who are interested in developing their painting and drawing expertise through the use of still life settings and life drawing. Through a collaborative effort we organize the models and arrange poses and lighting. The Academy meets about twice a week when school is in session in a studio in the Art Building. Scheduled times for the semester are posted on the bulletin board outside of the department office.
