About Us
Perspective REALIA
Realia refers to objects and activities used to relate classroom teaching to real life. That is what Perspective REALIA is all about. This is a class offered at the University of Utah that is unique in its type. The class provides students interested in the arts with an opportunity to gain real life painting experience within their communities. Students are able to participate by painting murals in different sites in the Salt Lake City area, exposing students to the experience of real world art in order to better prepare them for their futures beyond the classroom. Making a Difference
These murals are not only for the benefit of our students. The murals we create are unique and bring life to our community and surroundings. We are always looking for community partners that want to help the program by hosting one of our projects at their location.
