Will you paint my logo on the side of my building?
Sorry, we do not do commercial sign painting, only community murals. If you want a mural that can help to unite the community around your business, then let’s talk!
Will you paint our mural for free if we supply the paint?
Part of the educational experience for the students is traveling to tour other murals and art institutions. Your funds help make that possible. Therefore, we must be compensated for the mural. Contact Kim Martinez to find out what is possible.
Can I design the mural and have the students paint it?
Although you may have a great design and or idea for the mural, part of the focus of the mural program is the complete mural creation process for the students involved. We wouldn’t even let Leonardo Da Vinci design it, unless, of course, he was taking the class.
How much does it cost?
Big murals cost more than small murals. Walls in good condition cost less than walls that need repair and love. The short of it: costs are variable depending on the size and condition of the wall. Please contact Kim Martinez for specific details.
When can the class paint a mural for me?
The class is taught during fall semester, which lasts from September to December.
How long is the whole mural painting process?
We coordinate and set up mural sites a year in advance and then paint during fall semester. So, about a year from planning to finished.
