Certificate in Arts Technology
The Certificate in Arts Technology is a flexible program of study designed to enhance a student’s university experience and education. The certificate (minimum 23 credits) is open to all matriculated undergraduate students attending the University as well as any student already possessing a bachelor’s degree.
Many students elect to enroll in certificate coursework while completing their degree in their home department and graduate with their bachelor’s degree and the Certificate. Others opt to complete most of the coursework but finish the certificate program after graduation. By postponing the capstone course, the final class offering in the Certificate program, until after the date of graduation, students can show evidence of “post-baccalaureate” education to their employer or include it on a job application for a higher salary.
The Certificate in Arts Technology may also be combined with the Interdisciplinary Minor in Arts and Technology, as both are listed on the official transcript.
