Dave Eddy is an Assistant Professor Lecturer in sculpture at the University of Utah. Dave received his formal training at the University of Texas at Austin. He came to art later in life after working as a diesel mechanic, logger and a law enforcement National Park Ranger.
Dave’s work mostly revolves around historical and natural western landscape interpretation. He has received several public commissions through the Salt Lake City Arts Council. These commissions reflect his observations of the politics of the changing western landscape.
